30 Ton Mobile Crane 1940 Vintage

Here is a older lattice boom crane, that one could quite easily bring into good operating condition. This would make a good yard crane for someone who is mechanically inclined and does not need to move it around a lot. Both motors (Detroit Diesels) Run. All mechanical drives and gears are in better then average for its vintage. All brakes and clutch linings appear 75% or better. The unit runs, steers and brakes reasonable well. There is approximately 70’ of boom, with most if not all hard wear included.

4. truck engine 6 cylinder Detroit Runs, but does not ideal well

6. 4 speed main, 3 speed auxiliary
7. 8 ft. wide x 30 ft long (approximately) with out boom.
8. Boom, Base section- 15 ft. two each center sections 20 ft each. Tip section 15 ft with three sheaves. (all in fair to good condition)
9. Wight Approximately 80,000 pounds.
